Designing a Premium Unboxing System for At-Home Clear Aligners
Candid is a direct-to-consumer aligner brand transforming how people approach orthodontics. Our challenge was to design packaging that simplifies the treatment process, feels medically trustworthy, and elevates the user’s first impression. We created a structured system that organizes each step of the aligner journey, guiding users intuitively from day one. The layout, materials, and print choices were all made to reduce anxiety, promote ease of use, and reinforce Candid’s role as a modern, credible alternative to in-office braces.
Inside the box, each aligner set is clearly labeled and organized to match the treatment timeline, with supporting items housed in sleek compartments. The visual design remains calm and professional — clean typography, minimal color, and frictionless functionality come together to reflect Candid’s brand values of clarity and confidence.
